We have always been dedicated to making communities stronger. Our business mission is to create success stories by connecting the right people with businesses, where both can thrive. In our charitable work, we make much more personal connections, supporting organizations around Central New York that rescue and treat animals. Our larger goal: to eventually connect these wonderful animals with families for adoption, changing all of their lives for the better.

Anita Vitullo, our founder and President, is a tireless crusader and advocate for animals in our region, donating time, money and resources to shelters, adoptive agencies and humane societies year round. In addition to her ongoing support for many of these organizations, she wanted to establish a strong, lasting legacy for our less fortunate companions, one that will outlive her, and last for many years to come.

The Staffworks Charitable Fund, a donor-advised fund of The Community Foundation, was established in 2006 by Staffworks. In early June of 2018, The Fund exceeded the $10 million mark distinguishing itself as the first Community Foundation $10 million fund with a living fundholder.

Since 2009, nearly $1.4 million in grants has been awarded to community organizations including more than a dozen animal welfare organizations across the region. The Staffworks Charitable Fund focuses on supporting programs and services related to domestic animal welfare.
