Truman and Harrison

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOne cold winter morning, a woman in North Syracuse was backing her car out of her garage, only to notice that there were two cat carriers left in her driveway. She was shocked to find that there were actually cats left in the carriers at some time during the night.

She had helped rescue a number of strays in the neighborhood, so she believed someone who knew her history decided to dump their own cats there, hoping she would take care of them. Luckily, she was a co-worker of one of Central New York Cat Coalition’s (CNYCC) fosters, and immediately called her to help. The carriers turned out to contain two male cats, each about two years old. They were both cold and cramped in their carriers, but very friendly. They immediately went back to the foster’s home to be assessed.

The two boys were named Harrison and Truman, and were inseparable buddies. Because they were healthy and friendly, they were immediately neutered, vaccinated, and put up for adoption on Petfinder while they waited for a spot at a local PetSmart adoption center. A wonderful couple saw them on Petfinder, and adopted both brothers!
