Staffworks Support Leads to Record-Breaking SSHS Telethon

The Staffworks Fund contributed $27,344 to the 15th Annual Stevens-Swan Humane Society Telethon. That’s 24% of the total $113,000 raised and many animals helped.

The Stevens-Swan Humane Society relies heavily on community donations to operate 365 days each year and to pay for daily care, food, shelter and veterinary costs.

The goal for every shelter resident is to be adopted by an individual or family that is committed to providing a loving, healthy environment.

Staffworks Inc. profits support nonprofit organizations caring for at-risk animals in the communities we serve. Grants are provided through the $14 million Staffworks Fund managed at The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties.

The Staffworks Fund has provided more than $2 million to care for abandoned and abused animals in Central New York.
