I started my career in the recruiting industry as a Recruiting Coordinator at Staffworks in April 2002 when Staffworks opened the Norwich Branch. Little did I know in 2002 that the opportunity that Staffworks was hiring me for would turn into the great career path that is and continues to be for me today. In my current position, I manage the recruiting activities across two sites and in two states. The experiences and knowledge that I gained through my tenure with Staffworks assist me each day in my position and are the foundation that gave me the position that I hold today.
I work very closely with Staffworks to assist us with our contingent staffing needs in our operations department and administrative positions. We also utilize Staffworks to test potential new employees on safety, mechanical aptitude, math skills, reading comprehension and on various software programs that Microsoft offers. The testing software that Staffworks utilizes is electronically based and I have the test results in my inbox within minutes of the applicant taking the test. Given that we are a pharmaceutical company and have strict standards as they relate to safety and working in a cGMP compliant environment, we can always rely on the team at Staffworks to ensure that the contingent staffing personnel that they place with Norwich will meet and exceed these standards.
